 About Us

Welcome to the Surrey Heath Confederation of Schools incorporating 4 SureStart Children’s Centres.

The Surrey Heath Confederation was official formed in 2006 receiving funding in order to coordinate the provision of extended services in and around Surrey Heath schools. The Confederation is made up of 31 schools in the Borough of Surrey Heath.  The Confederation includes 3 secondary schools and 2 schools for pupils with special educational needs.

The schools are working collaboratively with other service providers & partners in the community in order to meet our targets for implementation and access by 2010, we aim to improve outcomes for all children and young people across the 5-16 age range though the provision of “Extended Services in and around Schools”.

The Extended Services’ mission is “To provide a range of services and activities, often beyond the school day, to help meet the needs of children, their families and the wider community”.  The Confederation will be looking at a number of areas including childcare provision, study support activities, parenting support, family learning and adult education.

The Confederation is proud of what has been achieved so far and looks forward to continuing to develop our links with other service providers, sharing experience, knowledge and resources to the benefit of our children, their parents, members of staff and the wider community.
